Audition Preparation

Covid-19 protocols for private violin lessons  Fall  2020

-Masks must be worn at all times

-I will open doorknob to front door and studio

-Maintain social distancing of six feet

-Shoes come off and are left at the front door

-Wash hands with soap and water before lesson

-Studio will be sanitized between lessons

-Hand sanitizer and tissues are always available

For those who are not comfortable with in person lessons, online lessons are available.

I am a professional violinist in the Memphis suburb of Arlington, TN.  Over the past 18 years I have played in full time professional orchestras in Charlotte, NC and in Knoxville, TN. I am now playing regularly with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and the Johnson Violin Studio is now open in Arlington, TN.

 I encourage my students to strive for excellence and in doing so they learn perseverance, commitment, concentration, problem solving and many other skills that will help them grow musically, academically and personally. They also learn a lifelong appreciation for  the art of music that expresses what words cannot.
